Sustainable Mobility Plan
A Sustainable Mobility Plan has as its main goal improving accessibility of target areas and providing high-quality, sustainable transport to, through and within this area. A SMP presents a long-term strategy (defined strategic lines) for the future and includes a plan for short-term implementation of the strategy, specifying the timing for implementation, clearly allocating responsibilities and identifying the required resources and finances. The development and implementation of a SMP follows an integrated approach with a high level of co-operation, co-ordination and consultation among the different stakeholders.
